Open Door Yoga offers large group sessions, both in-person and online, as well as specialty programs throughout the year.

Led by Michelle Thompson, a 500-hr registered yoga instructor and licensed occupational therapist, these classes incorporate traditional yoga postures as well as therapeutic techniques to promote improved health and wellness.

Classes are designed to complement each other. Students are encouraged to sign up for both if requested.
Hatha yoga, or “the yoga of force,” is designed to align, cleanse, and calm the body and mind. Classes incorporate many traditional yoga practices, including physical postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), and mindfulness (meditation, visualization). Hatha yoga can help improve strength and flexibility, reduce stress, and promote balance throughout all body systems.
Despite its name, this class is accessible to beginners and experienced yogis alike. No yoga experience is required, and classes are appropriate for all ages.
Led by Michelle Thompson, a 500-hr registered yoga instructor and licensed occupational therapist, variations of each pose will be demonstrated. Props will also be available for students.
